| SOMEBODY STOP ME BEFORE I KILL SOMEONE!

| This weekend was great and it ended in a good note.
So it was friday morning. i woke up at 4:30, took a
shower, and went to emer's house. his father gave us a ride to mcnair
and from there we went to new brunswick. hyatt is beautiful. its
jemangus holding up to 600+ ppol. we had breakfast, then keynote I with
Paul. He is great. At birth, he had cerebral palsy. He grew up, reached
his goals and dreams, including meeting Billy Joel. (singer of Piano
Man) After his speech, everyone had a good feeling about
themselves knowing that this weekend would be great. Then we had lunch.
The food was okay but it wasn't great. Then we had our first
workshop. I took the one with a lady who got into a cult and how she
escaped from it. The audience was rude but i thought her story was
meaningful. College maybe fun but you always need to make the right
decisions, it was the moral of her story. Then it was getting our room
keys. I had to share with Mohindra, Hung Ju, and Tremayne. After that,
it was the scavanger hunt, it was pointless. Then dinner, better food
than lunch i guess. It was the dance after, went for like 45 minutes
after that i started feeling ill for some odd reason, so i went to my
room and watched Family Guy.
Next day. Keynote II with Keith Hawkins. Another
great orator, presented himself well and captured the audience
attention with a quick clap or two. After that it was the group picture
and then second workshop. It was done by the same guy, Kieth Hawkins,
so ofcourse it was good. BREAK and then third workshop. It was
done by Tom Malloy. Actor, singer, dancer, editor, writer, and speaker.
He will star in a upcomoing movie thriller called The Attic. He was
comedian and shared many laughs with us. Then it was dinner and after
that was a talent show. It was good and fun. Off to sleep
Last day was the most boring out of all of them.
This is because i heard the Keynote Orator allready: Tom Malloy. and he
basically reiterated himself. Then it was off to home. Met up with
kevin to go to chinatown. It was great. he laughed at me most of the
time because of all the places i didn't go such as WTC and little
italy. It was really fun, ate the real orange chicken, and almost lost
my eardrums due to the popping noises but it was all worth it. After
that went to kevin's house and then went to Fun Buffet with
dork/whale/unicel, jessica and their mom. I ate frog's leg for the
first time really disgusting, and raw clam it too was nasty.
During this conference i did meet new people:
Mohindra, Tremayne, Franchone, Jessenia, Amanda, Gless, and
myself. It definitely showed my the true meaning of goals,
dreams, motivation, maturity, character, self-esteem, and most of all
leadership. All of these characteristics each of us can possess only if
we can believe in ourself . All we have to remember is this, "If you do
not stand for something, you will fall for anything." Overall,
this weekend was spectacular and all the people that spoke to us and i
spoke to especially kevin. thanks. you're awesome.
